Elaine from Schaefer Yarn Company is a hand painted bulky wieght yarn made from 99% merino wool and 1% nylon.

The color concepts of Gertrude Ederle, named after the Olympic and English Channel swimmer, are amethyst jewel tones ranging from violet blue to mulberry and rich greens that range from douglas fir to moss to a dark turquoise.
Makes wonderful sweaters, scarfs, mittens and hats.
No matter how much alike skeins may look, there are usually some differences between them. For multi-skein projects, Schaeffer suggests using two skein of yarn at once throughout, alternating every two rows, or at random.
